Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown vaseline yellow green with aqua green paint stroke Italian art glass sculpture on base. Documented to designer Luciano Gaspari for the Salviati company. The piece has a Brutalist look, and abstract design, with a textured slab of glass mounted on a smooth block base. The piece glows bright neon green under a black light from the high amount of Uranium / UV reactive glass (see photos). It is made with thick glass, and it is heavy for its size. The glass is pierced in the middle creating a unique design. Would make a great display piece on any desk, coffee or console table. Mid-century era. Measures: 8 5/8" tall x 8" long x 3" wide at the base.
