This beautiful … more This vintage Mid-century Japanese Lacquered Jewelry Music Box is a beauty with its black, gold and gray coloring. This beautiful music box has a sophisticated handpainted Japanese landscape design on both the front and top, making it a fabulous addition to any bookshelf or tabletop. The hinged box has a red velvet interior with an antiqued mirror and several compartments for jewelry, two of which have a similar design as the exterior. The wind up music box element intermittently works; sometimes I can get it to work, but I'm not mechanically inclined to fix it.
