Elyse Gerard, known for her landscapes, portraits and still lifes. “The New River Gorge” is just one example of her landscapes. This painting is oil on board. Deferring her painting career, Elyse spent 18 years on Wall Street. In 2001 she moved to Greenbrier, WV, inspired by the natural beauty, and finally was able to channel more energy into her art.
