They measure just under 13" tall … more A nice pair of very highly detailed Chinese Emperor and Empress statues or figures. They measure just under 13" tall and sit on carved wooden bases with little legs. Exquisite detail - look carefully at the work on the traditional Chinese robes with dragon rank badges and the four headed dragon throne chairs upon which the pair sit.
They are complete - so often the 'hat finial or button' piece is either damaged or missing.
These two statues are overall in excellent condition and are from Taiwan, ROC via a New Jersey Import Company. They are ivory in colour with dark brown wood bases, and are quite heavy. A regal addition to any home.
