It's undetectable with the glass top. There are a few black rubber pieces missing on the coffee table that support the glass. The pieces feature modern design made with Brazilian … more Here is a wonderful set designed by Percival Lafer in the 1970's. The pieces feature modern design made with Brazilian jacaranda wood and glass tops. The wood has a deep, brown with reddish tone and linear wood grain. All the pieces share the same design with U sides and exposed hardware. The coffee table has a smoked glass top, while the side tables have clear glass. What's really fun, is that all the pieces can be disassembled and stored/shipped flat. If you would like shipping without the glass I'm happy to do so.
