It was mainly enjoyed for holidays and family gatherings until the family opted to use it for nightly dinners over the last 25+ years. Besides surface scratches as expected from normal use, there are some cracks that can be seen in the LAST 2 photos. According to the previous owners, hey have been there since the table arrived on the freight from Mexico. They are only on the surface of the resin layer and this seems to be a known issue with these tables. The underside of one of the table corners appears to have been repaired, but it’s not noticeable from the top. It features 2 pyramid-shaped pedestals as … more For your consideration is a large, 8ft dining table made of marble and onyx. It features 2 pyramid-shaped pedestals as a base. The center of the table is comprised of onyx pieces held together by a resin layer applied to the entire tabletop. Those are in varying warm tones while the border is solid black. The transition between the two areas is made by a shiny gold tape-like material forming an outline all around the onyx pieces. It also sits under the resin.
