This Andy Warhol Foundation rare offset lithograph photo print custom framed iconic special edition New York poster " Bridge " 1986, is an incredibly special and unique piece to add to your collection.
The photo poster print is published by The McGaw Group, LLC., printed in The United States in 2002 in an unnumbered limited special edition with the licensed authorized rights of The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts Inc. It features an iconic black & white photography image of The Brooklyn Bridge originally created by Warhol in 1986 titled " Bridge ", copyright 2002 The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts Inc.

Andy Warhol ( 1928 - 1987 ) is one of the singularly most well known Contemporary artists of all time. His imagery is recognized worldwide. His infamous life, art works, and creative endeavors are like no other artist. He is credited as the very first artist to use common everyday objects and view them in a completely different way while paying homage to their role in our society. Glorifying the common as the beautiful. His technique utilizing a silkscreen method combined with hand finishing in a signature palette of vibrant color hues make the work stand on its own and loved by millions.
From 1949 until his death in 1987, new York was home for Andy Warhol. His prolific history as an artist, photographer, and filmmaker was often inspired by famous New York City landmarks such as The Brooklyn Bridge which became a subject for him several times. From 1976 to 1986 Warhol carried a camera wherever he went and exposed an average of one roll of film each day. He deeply understood urban life and the medium of film was yet another lens of Warhol being the quintessential Pop culture documentarian and voyeur.
The rare out print framed special edition New York poster print measures 24 1/4" W X 36 3/8" H X 1 3/8" D. It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern recessed detail matte eggshell finish black metal frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.
