Description: A vintage Italian large sized hand-painted wood buffet cabinet. This Italian console cabinet is fitted with four doors, two at … more A vintage Italian large sized hand-painted wood buffet cabinet. This Italian console cabinet is fitted with four doors, two at the shorter front side, flanked by a pair at the nicely canted sides. Each door is recess paneled, has been artistically hand-painted with scrolling acanthus leaf and flowers, and open to real open storage at the center, with smaller/separated storage compartments behind each of the side doors. This cabinet is raised on a nicely molded, platform base along each side, with the fronts being carved with bracket style feet which allow for a shallow raise from the ground along the front side. The general coloring of this cabinet is a creamy beige with hints of grey, and light blue doors. There is a nice patina throughout and nicely worn areas through which the natural wood is showing through from underneath. Though this Italian credenza is vintage, it was made to look antique, and is indeed a very well made piece. less
