This Robert Rauschenberg rare limited edition lithograph print Gagosian Gallery London Pop Art Exhibition poster is a very special and unique, outstanding high quality print of a captivating original artwork to add to your collection. The lithograph print poster is published by The Gagosian gallery in an unnumbered limited edition on the occasion of the exhibition " Pop Art Is " at the gallery in London in 2007. It features an original artwork created by Rauschenberg in 1963 titled " Transom ".
Robert Rauschenberg ( 1925 - 2008 ) is recognized as one of the 20th Century's most influential and prolific artists. he is credited with binding the gap between movements of Abstract Expressionism and Pop Art. A pioneer of the " Transfer Drawing " process, he experimented with technologically sophisticated combinations of photographs and drawings. he is highly regarded as a Modern master of mixed media and collage. The works are layered and transcend the two dimensional formant for the viewer. Artworks by Rauschenberg are included in the permanent collections of more than 70 of the worlds most prestigious museums.
The rare out of print large format lithograph print exhibition poster measures 27 1/2" W X 39 1/2" H. It is printed on extra heavyweight smooth finish paper stock with a satin finish.
