1920s Art Deco designer Binder Bros. genuine rock crystal on sterling chain necklace. Beautifully graduated faceted discs of hand-cut rock crystal are strung on fine sterling wire. This exquisite creation glitters and scintillates like a chandelier around your neck. The stones are like fire and ice, brilliantly clear and filled with light. Binder Bros. were in business for only about twenty years, and were known for their high-end sterling and vermeil jewelry; this necklace was atypical for them, and a very rare offering from this celebrated and collectible maker. Elegant perfection personified! Marked "Sterling" (twice), signed "BB" in overlapping circles. 17"L x 0.5"W at center. less
