This Wayne Thiebaud very rare vintage 1981 Pop Art lithograph print custom framed museum exhibition poster " Shoe Rows " 1975, is an incredibly special and unique piece to add to your collection.
The lithograph print Pop Art poster is published by The Walker Art Center Minneapolis, Minnesota. printed in 1981 in an unnumbered limited edition on the occasion of the exhibition. It features an artwork image originally created by Thiebaud in 1975 titled " Shoe Rows ", collection of the artist.

Wayne Thiebaud ( 1920 - 2021 ) is an American painter widely known for his luscious handling of paint, and brilliant colorful palette of works depicting commonplace objects that combined sensuousness, nostalgia and a hint of melancholy. Thiebaud is associated with The Pop Art Movement because of his interest in objects of mass culture. Although his early works, executed during the 1950's and 1960's, slightly predate the works of classic Pop artists. He uses heavy pigment and exaggerated colors to depict his subjects, and the well defined shadows characteristic of advertisements are almost always included in his work. Art works by Thiebaud are included in the collections of many of the most prestigious museums.
The rare out of print framed museum exhibition Pop Art poster measures 23 1/4" W X 36 1/4" H X 1 1/2" D. It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern bleached white oak wood museum box style frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.
It is in excellent " like new " condition. The poster print is in excellent " like new " clean vintage condition consistent with age, light signs of handling, and very light minor surface wear.
