This Andy Warhol Foundation rare 1995 offset lithograph print Pop Art poster " Double Mickey " 1981, is a very special and unique piece to add to your collection. The rare out of print offset lithograph print is published by Te Neues Publishing Company in 1995, printed in Germany with the licensed authorized rights of The Andy Warhol Foundation for Visual Arts, image courtesy of Ronald Feldman Fine Arts, New York. The Pop Art poster print features an artwork image originally created by Warhol in 1981 titled " Double Mickey ".
In 1981 while choosing subjects from Hollywood films or 950's television, Warhol created The Mickey Mouse Series. This fantasy figure from childhood, a quintessential American image, is a typical Warhol icon. With The Mickey Mouse Series, Warhol worked in a highly stylized manner, using an innovative photos silkscreen technique, bright color combinations and repeated images.
The rare out of print offset lithograph Pop Art poster measures 16" W X 12" H. It is printed on high quality heavyweight paper stock with saturated vibrant ink colors. It is in excellent " like new " condition with very light signs of handling. It has never been framed, and is now being offered here for an excellent price. less
