Stunning antique Spanish Renaissance light oak bench, called "escaño" in Spain, believed to date from the early 20th century. The piece has a deep background in hand-carved reliefs in which mythological figures appear. The base rests on a carved wooden frame on two carved legs held by an iron fastener.
The piece shows very good age and patina on the wood and iron.
