The dinner and dessert/entremet knives have stainless steel blades. Created in 1781 under King Louis XVI, This model is called "Louveciennes" in the catalogue Odiot. Louveciennes is near Paris and was the chateau of Madame du Barry, a favorite of Louis XV. This ornate model is decorated with a garland of bay leaves framing a shell motif.
