The boot has some iconography images or symbols, such as a fire brigade helmet, mining pick, sun shapes throughout all sides, and top end of boot. The intricate sewn, raised details of the boot or shoe also depicts a more traditional nature of culture and creative process of a tradesmen. The unusualness of this is the end lifts up, to show an interior portion for an ashtray, including a groove or indention on each side, in which to rest lit cigarettes, while also harkening to a time, of Hollywood Regency grandeur; when smoking, and entertaining were synonymous to social gatherings, either in an office, or workplace environment, at home, for dinner, social gatherings, after dinner drinks and a smoke. on could imagine a mad men era, with a smoking jacket, after dinner, or a party with dancing and gathering in groupings were the norm.
