This one-of-a-kind handcrafted piece represents memories of walks in the woods during the change of seasons. The dark blue stained maple pieces represent water and sky. The teal and blue stained spalted maple pieces represent closeups of the ground with vegetation and streams. The white stained curly maple pieces remind me of snow covered trees. (The larger piece is flanked by bloodwood.) The white stained maple piece at the top reminds me of a view of the landscape during a snowfall.

The frame and narrow horizontal strips are made from padauk.
