- Antique CHINESE PORCELAIN FOOTED BOWL decorated with the ancient yin yang symbol and the eight trigrams ( bagua ) used … more Antique CHINESE PORCELAIN FOOTED BOWL decorated with the ancient yin yang symbol and the eight trigrams ( bagua ) used in Taoist cosmology. The 8-sided bowl is about 7” in diameter and stands 1.25” high. The bowl is crudely potted and painted but has a lot of character. It most likely was made at a provincial kiln and dates from the late 19th century. The bowl has some wear to the enamels, a few mice bites, a couple of chips. No repairs.
