An antique 19th century good quality slant front folding writing box. Purchased from famed Gumps in San Francisco. Wood is solid mahogany. The top folds open on each side. Inside top has original fabric strips to hold stationary. All interior compartments intact. Also, original key and ink wells with tops missing, possibly corks.
Measures 13 ¼” high, 16 ½” wide closed and 9 ½” deep. Good condition, no damage; see photos. less
