- An absolutely fantastic 1930's monumental 3 part original french art deco exotic macassar ebony cabinet. Left side macassar door opens … more An absolutely fantastic 1930's monumental 3 part original french art deco exotic macassar ebony cabinet. Left side macassar door opens to reveal drop down writing surface and full secretary, drawers with nickel pulls. Center- huge display case/ vitrine. Fully mirrored back with inlaid shelves -adjustable, double glass doors. Far right door opens to reveal a full dry bar ready for serving, beautiful blue glass base. This masterpiece is all original and attributed to the master Jules Leleu. Definately designer piece. Note the sections, they are flawless and they are attached with French screws. This cabinet comes apart in 4 sections for easy transport. Palisander interior throughout. Exotic Macassar everywhere else. In the photos it looks like one side is darker than the other, this is just the light, all even color tones [macassar ebony]. This piece is from Paris and was refinished 4 years ago. It is in what I consider to be in very good condition but on very top left and very top right only there is some crazing to the surface - like 3 by 5" each side. This does not bother me but I must mention it. Dimensions - total overall - 75.5"h by 100"l by 22"d. Secretary portion only 20"w by 58"h by 18"d. Vitrine/ display section 60"h by 15"d by 46"w and Bar area 58"h by 20"w by 18"d. Note the original giltwood supports and the Spade legs. Original key for both Macassar ebony doors and special original key to open secretary drop down writing surface. If you own this piece you will own a truly one of a kind treasure surely to only go up in value. 1930's less
