(Seven or possibly eight single sconces available)
Each sconce features tiered palm fronds or leaves with softened jagged edges, creating an intricate and delicate design. The overall structure boasts an angular form, with the petals artfully overlapping to shape an organic pattern that beautifully illuminates the wall.
The Venetian glass components take on the appearance of robust leaves, gracefully culminating in a half-round receptacle resembling a bulb shape. These elements depict a captivating corolla, encircling a central flower, creating a striking visual effect.
The glass elements are crafted using the "rugida" technique, a method pioneered by Ercole Barovier in the 1940s. During production, the object is reheated, causing the applied particles to partially melt and adhere seamlessly to the surface. The result is a decorative crosshatch pattern that imparts a dewy, ethereal quality to the glass. Translated, "rugiada" means "dew," perfectly encapsulating the enchanting effect achieved by these sconces.
(Available to be sold individually as one single sconce.)

------------
Barovier & Toso is one of the world’s oldest family businesses. Founded in 1295 as Barovier in Murano, Italy, the company grew to prominence in the 1400's with the work of Angelo Barovier, whose glass objects can be seen in museums today. Renamed Barovier & Toso in 1942, the company forges Venetian mouth blown crystal with master artisans using the same age-old tradition passed down over generations. This technique has allowed for unique and sustainable designs different from any other crystal on the market.
