It has patina consistent with age and prior use. Specifically, the cord shows its age and the lightbulb base area shows signs of age. The lightbulb base itself is slightly askew. The electrical does work, but someone may want to have this checked by a lighting specialist. This was very lightly cleaned with non- toxic cleaner to remove dust and grime. Otherwise, this remains in its vintage condition as found. Lightbulbs are needed as many are missing. less
