Description: Offered is a vintage (and rarer) Dansk Designs brand modernist donkey animal figure silver plated on zinc paperweight designed for … more Offered is a vintage (and rarer) Dansk Designs brand modernist donkey animal figure silver plated on zinc paperweight designed for the company by Gunnar Cyrén circa the early 1980s.

A Swedish glass artist, silversmith, and industrial designer (1931-2013), Gunnar Cyrén worked for Dansk during the 1970s and later created a series of these silver-plated animals that became highly collectible because of their attractive minimalist stylized forms.

It bears its trademark stamped on a felt-bottomed underside "DANSK DESIGNS - JAPAN - GC (for Gunnar Cyrén). Please see the detail image for other pieces in this collection.

The donkey measures: 1" W x 2.5" D x 2.5" H
