Offered is a vintage Dansk Designs brand modernist reindeer animal figure silver plated on zinc paperweight designed for the company by Gunnar Cyrén in the early 1980s.
Gunnar Cyrén, a Swedish glass artist, silversmith, and industrial designer (1931-2013), Gunnar Cyrén worked for Dansk during the 1970s and later created a series of these silver-plated animals that became highly collectible because of their attractive minimalist stylized forms.
It bears its trademark stamped on a felt-bottomed underside "DANSK DESIGNS - JAPAN - GC (for Gunnar Cyrén).
The reindeer measures: 1" W x 2" D x 3.125" H
