The authentic vintage lithograph print was printed in the 1950's. It features and original famous artwork of a nautical view in Nassau Bahamas by the artist Anthony Thieme titled " Southern Waters " created in the early 20th Century.

Anthony Thieme ( 1888 - 1954 ) was a Dutch American landscape and marine painter and major figure in The Rockport School of Art. Born in Holland, he studied at The Acadamie of Fine Arts Rotterdam and The Royal Academy The Hague. he traveled extensively internationally always painting " En Plein Air " inspired by his natural environment. Thieme was greatly influenced by the Dutch seascape tradition and was very interested in the affects of light on water. Artworks by Thieme are included in the permanent collections of many important museums including The Metropolitan Museum of Art New York, The Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and The Boston Museum of Fine Arts.

The rare out of print authentic vintage Mid Century framed lithograph print is custom framed with plexiglass in a beautiful original natural wood frame molding with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation. It measures 33 3/4" W X 27 3/4" H X 2" D.
