Rare 1940s - 50s English school desk and chair by Kingfisher Ltd, West Bromwich, with original nameplated brass inkwell, iron legs and hinges, and accompanied by tubular steel and beech desk chair.
Judging by internal graffiti the desk was used in Manchester/Liverpool area.
Overall excellent condition with minor surface rust to desk legs, suitable for refinishing or maintaining the lovely patina it holds.
Desk dimension is 24 x 18 x 28, Chair dimension is 17 x 17 x 32 inches
