Offered are six L. Hitchcock Fan Back Windsor Chairs in the Riverton finish with a grape vine hand stenciled pattern. The set of six chairs includes two arm chairs and four side chairs. The chairs have solid maple seats and elegant backs with turned stiles. They have turned legs and stretchers. Gold accents to the turned parts complete the look and show the high quality craftsmanship that Hitchcock put into all their furniture. They are authentic Hitchcock chairs as evidenced by the makers stamp found on the underside of the seats and the maters mark stenciled across the back of the seats. One of the stamps is shown in the included photos. The chairs show the normal age wear expected of vintage pieces such as these. As with most preowned furniture they have some dings, scratches and finish wear marks from normal daily use. All parts are tight and they sit level. Please look carefully at the photos as they are an important part of the description.
