Basically this piece was in a formal sitting room and never used (like new, very clean). This club chair has also been reupholstered once. There is visible, typical wear on the wood. Based on the design, the wood pieces of the arms were nailed into the couch. While the arms stay in place with no issues, if you pick up the couch by the wood part of the arms, the wood will lift up a little and will need to be pressed back into place. Thus, that is not recommended when handling the couch. This sofa is originally 1930-1940’s. less

This club chair dates around 1930’s-1940 was originally pink chenille and was reupholstered once in 1996.

The colors are various shades of white to hints of gray and cream. It is in EXCELLENT condition especially considering the age. I would describe this chair to be very inviting, comfortable, and leaning more on the firm side (referencing the cushion).

Additionally, the clean Art Deco lines of the arm chair will visually make your space appear very distinguished and timeless! You have to love ART DECO!
