- The upholstery on the arm chair is in immaculate condition. Basically this piece was in a formal sitting room and … moreThe upholstery on the arm chair is in immaculate condition. Basically this piece was in a formal sitting room and never used (like new, very clean). This club chair has also been reupholstered once. There is visible, typical wear on the wood. Based on the design, the wood pieces of the arms were nailed into the couch. While the arms stay in place with no issues, if you pick up the couch by the wood part of the arms, the wood will lift up a little and will need to be pressed back into place. Thus, that is not recommended when handling the couch. This sofa is originally 1930-1940’s. less
