This stunning pair of vintage 1950's clip on drop dangle earrings are amethyst and sterling silver. They are mid century from the time period but remain modern in design and look. Beautifully made. They are marked Sterling Pat. 967965. The patent number is for the back of the earings. Amethyst stones are healing and they are a violet variety of quartz. It is regal looking and goes day to night for any season or wardrobe. They fit beautifully on the ear. They are 2" H / L on the ear. These have now been polished by a jeweler even though the photos show it has not. They look amazing now and very brilliant. These are fabulous and timeless. less
