The painting is bright, intense, and compelling yet relaxing at same time. The palette may be limited largely to black and white, but the blacks range from very soft and matte to deep and more glossy, which creates the illusion of different colors. The bold and varied brushwork is very dynamic and takes the eyes around and into the painting. There are a few blue accents. See photos as to how it looks to scale in various settings once re-stretched. It can hang together with sister painting, Jitterbug 1 as a diptych. Very versatile; can also hang horizontally.
