Splatter and drip technique used in the likeness of prominent abstract expressionist artists Jackson Pollock and Janet Sobel. The composition is divided into three sections by a T-shaped black border. The use of layering paints creates a texture on the surface of the painting. There are also small objects (mostly appear to be fragments of ceramic or glass) which are affixed to the canvas and are partially covered by the topmost layers of paint. This enhances the topography of the canvas, making it almost a three dimensional art object while still remaining a painting.
