A pair of stunning vintage Louis XV style carved giltwood settees - sofa loveseats
Exceptionally executed in luxurious 18th century French Louis XV Rococo taste with sensuous curvy lines, luxurious materials, asymmetrical flourishes, soft pastel colors, superior craftsmanship, stylized acanthus leaves, flowers, C scrolls and shells.
Exquisitely crafted of gilded solid beechwood, having a pierced scroll crest, hand-painted classic pastoral love scene, flanked by woven cane panels, over comfortable padded armrests and cushion bench seat upholstered in rich tufted red velvet fabric, rising on cabriole legs, terminating in whorl feet. 20th century
