The plate has a scalloped rim with artichoke flowers and fall colored leaves, the largest flower is a depressed sauce well. The center of the plate includes five purple tipped asparagus on a feathered background. I have a matching tray as well.

I purchased these plates in Southwest France, I can tell the set has been very well cared for.
