This lacquered top-grade water buffalo hide leather box features a hand-painted gold poen written in calligraphy on all five sides (except the bottom) and finished with lacquer. This piece is made with a leather-lined interior with no exposed hardware on the inside. Every detail was considered to create a beautiful and functional piece. The box is reinforced and can even be sat on with strong brass hinges. It still has a rich leather fragrance. The black color is rich with the leather grain pattern clearly visible. This box has full, lockable latch hardware.
Designed by the late legendary designer Lucia Lawrence and handcrafted by a top craftsman in Hong Kong.
