This is a Great Looking set of Hand Made Wood, Leather and Brass Fireplace Bellows. Circa Early 1900s. I Believe … more This is a Great Looking set of Hand Made Wood, Leather and Brass Fireplace Bellows. Circa Early 1900s. I Believe that They are American in Origin. They are Rendered in The "Turtle Back" Style - Form. They are Completely Hand Made and Base Painted in a Coffee Brown Color. They are Also Hand Painted - Decorated With a Cornucopia & Fruit Design in The Classic "Tole" Style with Gold Painted Highlights. The Nozzle and the Tacks are Solid Brass. Note Also the Basket Woven Leather at the Nozzle area. They are in Very Good Cosmetic and Functional Condition and They Display Nicely. They Painted Features are Somewhat Age and use Weathered Giving Them that Authentic Old Look that Cannot be Duplicated. The Leather has a Few Small Surface Scuffs Here and There but it is Still Pliable and Works Very Well ( No Holes or Leaks ). They Wood Benefit Cosmetically and it Would add an Extended Life With a Good Leather Conditioner.
They Measure Overall Approx. 17 inches Tall x 7 inches Long x 2 1/2 inches Wide.
