This really is an Absolutely Beautiful Antique Coffee Mill - Coffee Bean Grinder. Circa Mid 19th Century. This is a Very High Quality - Completely Hand Made Piece. The Side Panels are Faced with Genuine Honduras Burl Mahogany Wood in he "Book Matched Grain" Style to enhance its Beauty. The Top Panel - Perimeter has Fine Exotic Woods Marquetry - Inlay Decoration. The Top Grinding Pieces - Crank Etc. are Substantially Made Out of Solid Brass. The Grinding Arm is Quite Fancy with Reticulated and Fine Hand Engraved Features that also includes a H B Monogram - Possibly the Maker ? or Owners ?. The actual Coffee Bean Grinding Mechanism is Made Out of Steel. Note! also the the Drawer has Hand Cut Dove Tail Type Joints. As far as Origin Goes my Guess Would be England or Possibly Continental Europe. I am Not Sure if the Brass and White Porcelain Drawer Knob is Original but it Works Very Well with the Overall Design. Condition as Follows - I am sure that it is Still Functional However if you Plan on Actually Using it a Good Cleaning of The Steel Grinding Mechanism is Advised. The Side Panels have Various Gaps at the Book Matched Mahogany Panel Center Seams - This is just a Natural Occurrence that Happened as a Result of then Wood Drying Out - Shrinkage over Many Years.
