This Vincent Van Gogh rare vintage 1986 Postimpressionist offset lithograph print custom framed museum exhibition poster " Olive Orchard " 1889, is a very special and unique piece to add to your collection.
The Postimpressionist poster print is published by The Metropolitan Museum of Art New York, printed in 1986 in an unnumbered limited edition on the occasion of the " Van Gogh in Saint-Remy and Auvers " exhibition. It features an artwork image originally created by Van Gogh in 1889 titled " Olive Orchard ", Gotesborgs Konstmuseum.
Vincent Willem Van Gogh ( 1853 - 1890 ) was a Dutch Postimpressionist painter who is among the most famous and influential figures in the history of Western Art. In just over a decade he created more than 2000 artworks, most of which date from the last two years of his life. The rare out of print framed exhibition poster print measures 34 3/4" W X 31 3/4" H X 1 3/8" D. It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern matte brushed brass finish gold tone metal frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.
It is in excellent " like new " condition. The poster print is in excellent " like new " clean vintage condition consistent with age, light signs of handling, and very light minor wear in the lower margin text area.
