This lovely tea cup and saucer set is made of porcelain. This tea set is stamped "August Poppy", likely indicating it is part of a larger Flowers of the Month series, and this piece was made for the month of August with a wonderful motif of pink and purple poppy flowers. Both pieces have a gorgeous overall iridescent finish with marvelous gold detailing. We believe this set was made by Enesco due to the design, however please note there is no makers mark or stamp.
The measurements are:
Cup: height=3" width including handle=4 1/2" depth=3 1/2" approx.
Saucer: height=3/4" diameter=5 1/2" approx.
