- This is a beautiful set of large candleholders. They appear to be some sort of cast metal that is painted … more This is a beautiful set of large candleholders. They appear to be some sort of cast metal that is painted gold. From the top is a flower design, then each has 6 tiers of interlocking bowl shaped swirls. The top 2 tiers are small, the next 2 are medium and the bottom 2 tiers are large in size. The base has a leaf design and round partially-exposed ball shapes surrounded by circles. They are so festively glimmering golden even without the candles. less
