It features a monograph survey collection of the artworks of the Pop Art master David Hockney, with accompanied compelling text by art historian Paul Melia and museum curator Ulrich Luckhardt.
David Hockney ( B.1937 ) is an English painter, draftsman, printmaker, stage designer, and photographer. He is an important contributor to The Pop Art Movement of the 1960's. He is considered one of the most influential British artists of The Twentieth Century. His artworks have commanded greater popular acclaim than any other Contemporary British artist. The Pop Art Expressionist style artworks have been the subject of more than 400 solo exhibitions. Art works by Hockney are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.
