The earrings are in good condition, with one tiny crystal rhinestone has a small chip (only visible when using a magnifying glass).
Measurements: 1 in wide (2.5 cm) x 4.19 in high (10.6 cm).
Note: Fashion designer John Galliano was born in 1960 in Gibraltar in the UK. John Galliano wasted no time launching his clothing line just after his Central Saint Martins graduation. This was preceded by a 1984 final collection called "Les Incroyables" (the incredible) inspired by the French Revolution.
In 1986, the John Galliano brand appeared. His collections were dramatic and intricate, very unusual, and therefore not always understandable by the public. After four years, John practically became bankrupt.
Then Galliano left London in despair and went to Paris. Luckily, admiration from the fashion community allowed him to keep going. Magazine editors and critics were always busy finding work for Galliano, and models like Kate Moss worked for him not for money but out of friendship.
In 1995, Galliano was named chief designer of Givenchy, becoming the first British designer to lead a French fashion house. Galliano revealed his first couture collection featuring sumptuous bouffant ball gowns, bowed dresses, and belted suits, and in 1995, for the third time and second consecutive year, he was named British Designer of the Year. Two years later, he moved to Christian Dior. Galliano served as Dior's creative director from 1996 to 2011.
