This elegant Talosel or resin brooch pin was created by Line Vautrin in the 1950s. Features a freeform dimensional shape in black Talosel, encrusted with cobalt blue colored mirrored glass.
Glass and Talosel, a technique created by Line Vautrin, in which she used cellulose acetate that was fractured into tiny splinters and worked with heat. The creation process of Talosel jewelry involved many steps, including making the mirrors, coloring them, molding the Talosel, and integrating smaller mirror fragments.
Measurements: 1.63 in wide (4.1 cm) x 1.57 in deep (4 cm).
