This pitcher is made in a style typical of Doulton Lambeth pieces, and it is one of Royal Doulton's motto / sayings pieces; it features a brown and dark blue color scheme with an embossed off-white design of leaves around the middle, and it has a quote on the front that reads "Here's to thee, my honest friend, wishing these hard times to mend."
