Just Gorgeous! Look at the detail. In good working condition.
Research didn’t bring up anything else like these at all which is good because it means you’ll have a unique and one of a kind piece, but it’s also hard to price it that way. Instead of my usual way of finding prices by using my Google lens app, the best way I think to price this is to look for “Chinese Carved quartz” on Chairish or other similar sites. Don’t mention the “lamp” or your search will be too limited.
Size of Carved courts portion: 6” x 3”
Height of entire lamp: 13. 5 inches.
Width of lamp: 5 inches
Depth: 4 inches
Origin: China
Age: unknown, but older. I’m going to guess 1940s.
Condition: Good condition. The lamps are in working order. The courts portion wiggles a little but it’s not removable.
My guarantee is that I will be honest about my items, and share what I know about them with you. Also, I will be fair with my pricing based on research, and I will also share this with you.
There are three steps involved in my research for pricing, and you can do this too.
1. Use an app called Google Lens to take a photo of any item. It will bring up similar items and how much they sell/sold for. This is also helpful in figuring out what to call or how to describe the item.
2. Do a Google search for the name of the item.
3. Do a search for the item by name on Chairish and another similar site.
Since I am being fair with my pricing, I want you to know how to do this. It will only help me by validating my pricing choices, and hopefully it will help you to recognize items that are overpriced.
Feel free to ask me any questions or to make an offer.
I have many more items to post, so please check back sometime.
Thank you!
