Born in France, circa 1950s, having a black glass top, high quality solid wood construction and dovetail joinery, the shaped case fitted with six drawers, affixed with the original brass hardware, rising on tapered supports, ending on brass feet.

As warm and attractive as it is functional, having the ideal size and proportions for a variety of different uses, including as a bedroom commode - dresser, dining room sideboard server or buffet, credenza, media stand, over sized hall console, and more.
