This stunning French 19th century work table from Burgundy with its thick oak top and legs that have been raised to standing height, would make a gorgeous kitchen island. Crafted from solid walnut and oak, it remains incredibly sturdy and level. Made in a framed, two board style, the characteristics of practicality and soundness define this handsome double decker table. The solid top has smooth rounded, molded corners and showcases the rich brown tone of the wood and an excellent patina. The apron contains a center drawer with original hardware that is divided inside for an organized storage space. Straight square legs provide support for continued everyday use.
