There is a chip in the marble top on the right front corner/edge along with a light cup ring (hardly noticeable) and some minor paint loss on the base (all pictured). Elegant Louis XV style marble top console / sideboard attributed to Maison Jansen, circa 1930s. The 91” wide monumental creamy white painted base features gilt gold embellishments of floral medallions and shell designs and is topped with a removable black marble slab with natural brown and white veining. It also features six sturdy hand carved cabriole legs with supporting half moon stretchers, a velvet-lined central silverware drawer and two corresponding side drawers for additional storage. The elegance of this high quality Louis XV style piece is unmatched.
