Fantasy Pattern by Bordallo Pinheiro is a traditional faience pottery featuring bright colors, reliefs, and motifs inspired by nature. It is a fun and colorful pattern for the table. Mix and match the different colors for a more dynamic table setting. Handmade in Portugal. The earthenware is microwave and Dishwasher safe. There is a set of dinner and dessert plates on other listings both seen in the last picture.
The factory was founded in 1884 by famous Portuguese cartoonist Bordallo Pinheiro
Specializing in the brightly colored form and imagery of faience ware, work from Pinheiro has been the recipient of awards and is in private and museum collections.
