This is a matted French Art Deco print that is perfect for the woman who loves the sport of skiing. It is rare to find vintage sport related themed prints that speak to the viewer as this one does. This image was the cover art to a French magazine, La Vie Parisienne, (Parisian Life) that dates to 1935; it is NOT a recent reproduction print. It is in beautiful, clean condition with NO indication of its age...no discoloration, no rips, no stains. It has good crisp color. Magazine cover art is highly collectible and difficult to find in excellent condition with the passage of time as it is susceptible to stains, tears, fading, etc. This print is signed by its artist, (LG) George Léonnec, a French illustrator and artist who worked in Paris in the early 20th century. The image features a woman who has fallen of the ski slope and humorously is "calling for a snack". This image makes for great wall décor in a ski house; it is a great gift idea! 9.25 x 10.5 inches in size. Comes matted in a neutral tone 16 x 20 inch mat ready for a standard size frame. Please allow time for custom matting. See other ski sport prints in our shop. See less
