This is part of Chairish’s Costume Jewelry assortment.
This beautiful enamel and pate de verre link choker necklace was produced in Limoges, France, in the 1950s. The enameled round domed copper elements are hinged with a gilded brass chain. This popular 1950s and 1960s technique named "cookies" was used in Limoges to create jewelry. Copper pieces were silver-foiled or gild-foiled, then decorated with clear enamel and topped with colored fused glass, boasting fabulous colors with an intense glow. This choker is adorned with black, gray, and gold colors over a silver foil background. The necklace has a spring ring closing clasp. There is no visible signature or mark.
