This antique silver plated pedestal cake stand was made by the Rogers Brothers Silver Co. from Hartford Conneticut and this …

This antique silver plated pedestal cake stand was made by the Rogers Brothers Silver Co. from Hartford Conneticut and this piece was made when the Meriden Britannia Co. owned the Rogers Brothers Silver Co. and they continued the 1847 Rogers Bro's mark which they produced from 1862-1865. This silver plated cake stand is solid casted copper that was silver plated by heat and compression made in an Queen Victorian style in an octagonal shape with a hand repousse stamped family crest on it with a C in the middle. This Victorian antique American silver plated pedestal cake stand measures 11" wide by 4 1/2" tall and it is in "Pristine Condition" with no dents, no cracks, no repairs, and original well aged patina of the silver for the age of the piece.
